Racetrack inflation and assisted moduli stabilisation
We present a model of inflation based on a racetrack model without flux stabilization. The initial conditions are set automatically through topological inflation. This ensures that the dilaton is not swept to weak coupling through either thermal effects or fast roll. Including the effect of non-dilaton fields we find that moduli provide natural candidates for the inflaton. The resulting potenti...

We show some structures of moduli stabilization and supersymmetry breaking caused by gaugino condensations with the gauge couplings depending on two moduli which often appear in the four-dimensional effective theories of superstring compactifications. Talk given at the 14th International Conference on Supersymmetry and the Unification of Fundamental Interactions (SUSY06), UC Irvine, California,...
متن کاملKKLT type models with moduli-mixing superpotential
We study KKLT type models with moduli-mixing superpotential. In several string models, gauge kinetic functions are written as linear combinations of two or more moduli fields. Their gluino condensation generates moduli-mixing superpotential. We assume one of moduli fields is frozen already around the string scale. It is found that Kähler modulus can be stabilized at a realistic value without tu...

متن کاملRates of Mixing for the Weil-petersson Geodesic Flow: Exponential Mixing in Exceptional Moduli Spaces
We establish exponential mixing for the geodesic flow φt : T S → T S of an incomplete, negatively curved surface S with cusp-like singularities of a prescribed order. As a consequence, we obtain that the Weil-Petersson flows for the moduli spaces M1,1 andM0,4 are exponentially mixing, in sharp contrast to the flows forMg,n with 3g − 3 + n > 1, which fail to be rapidly mixing. In the proof, we p...
